What is Backflip?

Backflip is a lead recovery product by Veldon Funding. It's a lightweight JavaScript snippet that you add to your existing site or application flow. When a consumer applies for a loan and gets rejected by your underwriting, Backflip automatically routes that lead to our partner network of lenders who may be a better fit. If the lead closes, you earn revenue.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no contracts. Backflip is 100% performance-based. You only earn money — you never pay. Revenue is generated when a backflipped lead successfully closes with one of our partner lenders.

How does the JavaScript snippet work?

It's a single line of non-blocking, asynchronous JavaScript that you paste into your site. It has zero impact on your page load speed or user experience. When your system rejects a lead, Backflip captures the consumer's information and presents them with alternative funding options through our network — all seamlessly.

What happens to the consumer?

When a lead is rejected by your system, Backflip presents the consumer with relevant alternative funding options. The consumer still has a positive experience — instead of hitting a dead-end rejection page, they're given a path forward. This actually improves your brand perception.

What verticals does Backflip support?

We currently support three verticals: personal loans, business funding, and merchant cash advance (MCA). Our partner network includes lenders and brokers across all three, ensuring your rejected leads are matched with the right provider regardless of loan type.

How do I track my earnings?

Every Backflip partner gets their own login dashboard at backflip.veldonfunding.com. You can see, in real-time: how many leads were rejected, how many entered our pipeline, how many closed, how many didn't, and exactly how much revenue you've earned. Full transparency.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are processed on a regular schedule (weekly or monthly depending on your account). We pay via ACH, wire transfer, or check — your choice. All payout details are visible in your dashboard.

Will this interfere with my existing operations?

Not at all. Backflip only activates on leads that your system has already rejected. It doesn't touch your qualified leads, doesn't interfere with your underwriting, and doesn't change your existing user flow. It simply adds a recovery layer for traffic that would otherwise be wasted.

How long does setup take?
